Reflections in the Landscape - 18th April 2026
Saturday Art Workshop: Join me for a joyful day of landscape painting at the Trinity Centre Meole Brace Shrewsbury SY3 9HF 10-4. In this art class, you will create an A3 acrylic painting on cradled birch panel (provided) of a landscape which is special to you featuring any reflective body of water - a pool, lake, river, estuary etc. We will be focusing on the effects of light on water and the reflections and movement of the surface of the water. I will take you through the process step-by-step, giving you lots of tips & tricks about painting water and landscapes, and you will create a wonderful piece of art that is ready to display on your wall as soon as you get home. A basic supply of brushes and acrylic paint will be available but you are advised to bring your own. I recommend Amsterdam acrylics and Akoya brushes (½ in filbert and a point for details). Light refreshments will be provided - please bring your own packed lunch.
