Attingham Afternoons - 1-4pm
What a way to start the weekend! Join me outdoors in the fresh air for gorgeous Friday afternoon of panoramic landscape watercolour sketching and painting ‘en plein air’. There are three dates to choose from, June 20th, July 18th and September 12th. We will be in a different location on site for each session to make the most of the seasonal and climatic attributes. These locations will include the walled garden, as well as the front and rear of the mansion house so you will be guaranteed a unique experience every time. The workshop will take place in the stunning and expansive grounds of the National Trust’s magnificent Attingham Park (SY4 4TP). I will show you how to quickly capture the essence of a view in glorious lush vibrant layers of prismatic colour. All materials, easels and entry to the park is included in the price. Bring your own tea & cakes, a folding chair and appropriate outdoor clothing and shoes. We will meet in the centre of the Stables Courtyard at 12.45pm.
NB: A gazebo and tables will be in position for the event, and so it will go ahead even if it is cold/damp! In the case of extreme weather on the day the event will be rescheduled.
