What a way to start the weekend! Join me outdoors in the fresh air for gorgeous Friday afternoon of panoramic landscape watercolour sketching and painting ‘en plein air’. There are 6 Friday afternoon dates between April and September 2026 and we will be in a variety of locations including the front of the mansion house, back of mansion house, walled gardens and other beauty spots. The workshop will take place in the stunning and expansive grounds of the National Trust’s magnificent Attingham Park (SY4 4TP). I will show you how to quickly capture the essence of a view in glorious lush vibrant translucent layers of prismatic colour. All materials, easels and entry to the park is included in the price. If you book for all 6 sessions there is a special offer to select in the drop down menu. Bring your own tea & cakes, a folding chair and appropriate outdoor clothing and shoes. Staff at reception will tell you where to assemble when you sign in
NB: A gazebo and tables will be in position for the event, and so it will go ahead even if it is cold/damp! In the case of extreme weather on the day the event will be rescheduled.
